1. Optimize Device Placement

Where you place your device makes a big difference.

  • Place the recording device on a stable, flat surface
  • Use a soft pad or mat beneath the device to reduce vibration and table impact sounds
  • Position the device closer to the primary speaker (ideally within arm’s reach)


2. Reduce Background Noise

Background sounds can interfere with speech recognition and transcription accuracy.

  • Choose a quiet environment whenever possible
  • Close doors or windows to minimize outside noise
